Socrates Hotel

Location is great, 2 minutes walk from the Larissa metro station, 15 minutes walk to National Archeological Museum, 1 minute walk from pick up spot for Meteora tours. The room is not too big, but everything is provided - towels, safe, fridge, hair dryer. Very reasonable for its price.

The staff is more than friendly, the metro station is a 3 min walking distance, 1 min walking distance are 2 coffee shops that make great cofee in the morning.

The hotel is very basic, but, the lack of facilities, is compensated by very welcoming staff and cleanliness. It is very close to the Metro and transport (100 meters). If going by train from airport simply stop at LARISSA Station and the hotel is less then 5 minutes walk. Yet very nice and quite if you like to rest in the air conditioned room. The surrounding area offers many food shops COFFEE BARS and Hypermarket (150 meters away), that sells nicely prepared take away foods both local and continental A FRIDGE is available in the room

Close to Metro

The staff in the front counter was really helpful, she started by providing us a detailed explanation of how buses work in Santorini and a timetable of it. She proceed to help us to move to another room when we said the first room that we were allocated has poor connection. She was very helpful and friendly whenever we need so advice of what to do and helping in booking tours/ suggesting possible activities. Breakfast was also very nice and a lot of selection.
